Is anybody familiar with Regis Hair Salon?

If so how much does it usually cost to get a haircut from there?

And do you recommend going there or not? I always seem to get bad haircuts and I really want a nice haircut for once.Is anybody familiar with Regis Hair Salon?
Regis is more of a upscale chain salon. Like Fantastic Sam's but more flashy. You can get a good cut...but you can also get a real crappy one.

Your best choice is too go to a reputable place. Look in the phone book..or go by word of mouth..every city has places that are known for their professionalism....it will cost you more...but..if you are wanting a different style..and want someone who has made a name for themselves..best to spend a bit more money. After that, you can always go to a cheaper place and say...just cut along the lines type of thing. Sop you still have the good styleIs anybody familiar with Regis Hair Salon?
They sell crappy product so Im almost certain that in the cut and color dept... you'll also get what you paid for.

Best way to find a great hairdresser is to ask a friend or even a total stranger ';Who does your hair?';

I found mine that way and I would never give her up now!
I'm familiar with Regis. Going there doesn't guarantee a good haircut, the stylist does. While Regis does have some good stylists, they also have a lot of inexperienced stylists fresh out of cosmetology school, some are good. When you see someone with a nice cut ask them where they got their hair cut and who their stylist is. Do a sort of informal poll, then go see the stylist with best reputation
nope
I had an old high school classmate who worked there and did a great job. I ended up going to her on a regular basis, but it was getting expensive (almost $40 on haircut only). Anyhow, I stopped going back to Regis when I found out that she was quiting after gradurating from nursing school.

I now go to a certain Fantastic Sams. The girl who does my hair is just as good but fraction of the price compared to Regis.

In my opinion, it's best to keep trying different stylists until you find one that you like.
They're like a ';chain'; place, you MIGHT get somebody good, or you MIGHT get somebody bad.

Find a local, no name-brand place, and try to see their work before you trust them. OR just go for it, and if they're good go back to the same person. If they're bad, you just have to wait a month for it to grow out.
well its almost like going to fantastic sams or something....not top notch thats for sure....i would say go some where that actually has regular clients not just walk in's if you know what i mean and as for cost they arent much cheaper than a good salon....
