Confused about the rank of Hair salons? JC Penney Vs. Regis?
Are all mall salons created equal? Which is better, a department store salon or one in the middle of the mall like Regis. I always thought JC Penney was a nice salon. Is it true that all people who work in mall salons are fresh out of beauty school? Does anyone know if that is true for JC Penney? I made an appointment there to get highlights and my husband is concerned.Confused about the rank of Hair salons? JC Penney Vs. Regis?

What are Regis hair salons like?
I need a trim and possibly layers before I go on vacation in 2 days. I had an appointment with another salon but she canceled it because of a family emergency. I don't have enough time to schedule another appointment somewhere else. I have wavy/curly hair and I find that a lot of salons that I've gone to don't cut my hair very well.What are Regis hair salons like?
DONT GO! I have found ( and I have lived a lot of places) that regis salons are CRAP! they mess my hair up every time ( i also have curly hair!) please save yourself the tears and just make an appointment somewhere else!What are Regis hair salons like?
Yes I agree Regis hires there stylists right from beauty school. so Does Master Cuts. I'm pretty sure Regis owns Master Cuts and they go back and forth taking products from one another at our mall.
Regis just charges a little more.. Stupid I know.

do they cut/style hair well??? i got a VERY dodgy hair cut the last time i got it done...i asked for 2 inches and they seriously cut about 5! im going to america in a few days and wana get it done there....but do they do it nice?? also do they do different hairstyles if i just went in and asked to get a style??Regis Salons??
Find a hairstyle on the internet that you like, print it out, and take it to the salon and show it to your stylist. She should be able to copy it. Just make sure the picture shows how its cut well. :)

Regis, Supercuts, and Fantastic Sams are all owned by the Regis Corporation so definitely don't expect anything amazing from them...
I've had good cuts and bad cuts there, so it's just based on the stylist you get. The trick is to stick with a stylest once you find one that can give you the look you want - over and over again.

Smartstyle and other Regis Corp Salons.?
Alright, i currently work at smartstyle in a small town making just enough to get by, but my question is my boyfriend and i are thinking of moving to a bigger city and i just was wondering if anyone knew if i would be able to work at two different salons both owned by the same company? i don't see how there would be any problems but just asking your guy's input. Do you think that would be acceptable, considering most of their salons only hire part-timers? Smartstyle and other Regis Corp Salons.?
If you are asking if you can work at two salons at the same time, then the answer is no. Most salons do not allow you to work at another salon while employed by them and even make you sign an agreement stating that you wont. (its called conflict of interest)
Now if you are just wanting to transfer to another salon owned by Regis in another city, then there shouldn't be a problem and Regis will most likely help you transfer. Regis owns the following salons:
